This scholarship is available to outstanding international high school graduates (70% or above in year 12, or equivalent). The purpose of this scholarship is to attract students to study a Bachelor of Civil Engineering at La Trobe's regional campus in Bendigo. It offers the opportunity for students to work in a region which currently faces a skill shortage of civil engineers.

The Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) invites applications to its Ph.D. program. The program will commence on September 1st, 2012. Successful applicants for the Ph.D. fellowships will pursue a topic in one of BIGSSS. All fellows are expected to choose Bremen as their place of residence.
The SMA Graduate Fellowship is established by the Singapore Ministry of Education in January 2009 to attract the best and most talented Ph.D. students from Singapore, the region and beyond, and educate them to be future leaders in the areas of science and technology.

The Research Unit of Health Economics at The University of Southern Denmark is advertising a PhD scholarship within the area of Behavioural Economics. The PhD project should involve research on citizens' health choices and preferences for health. The successful applicant for a PhD scholarship must have demonstrated a research potential as reflected by the grades obtained and the quality of the master thesis. Applicants are expected to have an educational background in economics or a related subject corresponding to the Danish degrees cand.oecon., cand.polit., cand.scient.oecon. or cand.merc.
The National Humanities Center offers 40 residential fellowships for advanced study in the humanities during the academic year, September 2012 through May 2013.
CICOPS Scholarships are now being accepted for 2012. Academics and other researchers from developing countries who wish to carry out research in collaboration with a professor at the University of Pavia are welcome to apply. Applicants must have the support of a collaborator at the University of Pavia.

Pittsburg State University is a public university located in the southeast corner of the state of Kansas. Serving approximately 7,000 students, PSU has an international population of about 500 students from 40 different countries. Pittsburg State offers more than 100 internationally recognized undergraduate and graduate degrees.

The International Rocket Scholarship is offered to new undergraduate international students who are entering the university as an adult, transfer or directly from high school who have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The scholarship covers the out of state surcharge, valued at approximately $9,000. Students whose native language is not English must have a minimum international TOEFL score of 500 paper based, 173 computer based, or 61 internet based test or a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 and be academically admissible to receive this award.

The International Academic Award is available to academically talented, undergraduate international students who are enrolled at Northern Michigan University as first-time, full-time baccalaureate students.

TWAS-CNPq Postgraduate Fellowships are tenable at research institutions in Brazil for a period of up to four years and are awarded to students from developing countries (other than Brazil) to enable them to pursue all or part (Sandwich or Fulltime)of their research leading towards a PhD degree in the natural sciences.
The academic year in Brazil usually begins on 1 March and the second semester in early August of each year. Candidates will enrol for their PhD at the host institution and must observe the academic calendar of the host institution and be ready to start their Fellowship on the first day of classes/courses (most likely in Portuguese). The language of instruction is Portuguese for most institutions, and in a few institutions English.
As part of the Career Development Program, the EHA Partner Fellowship Program is dedicated to young hematologists from new accession and European Union candidate countries and developing countries. To facilitate development of a collaborative network between hematology institutes in Western Europe and new accession and candidate countries of the EU and developing countries.To support the career development of young scientists from new accession or EU candidate countries and developing countries who are involved in basic and clinical research in hematology by facilitating opportunities to work at host institutes in Western Europe.
The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (the Abdus Salam ICTP) will offer number of grants to scientists from Developing Countries (Central and Eastern Europe included) interested in taking part in the training and research activities.
