The MACT program is addressed to graduate students having completed a curriculum in engineering, mathematics, physics, biology, economics or related areas.To profitably follow the Master program, candidates should have some background on basic dynamical systems and differential equations, and some knowledge of linear algebra, transforms, probability and stochastic variables.Prospective candidates must have good command of written and spoken English. All instruction will be in English.
The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) "The Exploration of Ecological Interactions with Molecular and Chemical Techniques" in Jena, Germany, is offering 8 PhD fellowships beginning in January 2012. Students holding a Master's degree (or equivalent) in molecular biology, ecology, entomology, microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, neuroethology or zoology, with a proven record of success in one of the disciplines and interest in examining ecological interactions are eligible to conduct a doctoral project within the IMPRS.
The School in Social Sciences announces a public selection based on qualifications and an interview (and a multiple choice test for the programme in Sociology and Social Research), in order to rank candidates for admission to the first year of the following doctoral programmes for the academic year 2011/2012.
There are 10 scholarships. The Beresford MA Scholarships are for full fees at the UK/EU rate plus a partial maintenance grant (pro rata over 2 years for part time students). International scholarship holders may opt to amalgamate the scholarship into one payment as a substantial contribution towards International fees or may choose to receive the UK/EU arrangement which would cover £4,200 of your fees and provide you with an additional funding as a maintenance contribution.

The Phillips Collection, in partnership with The George Washington University (GWU), offers a Post-Doctoral Fellowship available to support research and teaching on topics in American, European, or non-western art, including photography, from 1780 to the present. The fellow is expected to be in residence in Washington, DC, at The Phillips Collection during the fall and spring semesters throughout the term of the fellowship - July 2012 through June 2013. The Fellow will be expected to teach one undergraduate or graduate course at the Phillips' Center for the Study of Modern Art or at GWU's Foggy Bottom Campus, present at least one public lecture at the Phillips, and participate in other programs and discussions with scholars, critics, museum staff, and students at the museum and the university during the fellowship.

Winthrop University is committed to increasing diversity on campus. For this reason, we recently introduced the International Baccalaureate scholarship.  This scholarship is guaranteed as long as the GPA requirement is met!  Winthrop University works with rolling admissions and is therefore still accepting applications for the fall 2011 semester!

In keeping in differing academic calendars worldwide, The College of Saint Rose is offering an extended application and scholarship deadline for undergraduate applicants. Students who submit a Saint Rose application for admission by June 1st will receive full consideration for academic scholarships ranging up to $14,000 for each of four years of attendance at Saint Rose.

The conditions for all scholarships with the exception of the curator scholarship are a completed course of study in art (M.F.A. or comparable degree) and two or three years (depending on the respective scholarship) of continuous artistic work after the conclusion of the studies. Applications are also possible for autodidacts distinguished by special artistic achievements, as documented by exhibitions and prizes.

The curator scholarship is awarded to persons who are not older than 35 years or whose university degree (at least M.A., preferably Ph.D.) was completed not more than 5 years ago.

To foster artistic dialog and interdisciplinary collaboration, knowledge of German, English or French is expected. For the curator scholarship, the mastery of the German language and good knowledge of English or French is essential.

The Estonian Government offers a number of scholarships intended for university students, researchers or lecturers for studying and doing research at Estonian public universities and institutions. Mostly scholarships are for master's degree and doctoral degree, but some bachelor degree scholarships are also possible.

Most universities in Estonia propose scholarships for international degree programmes. It is possible to use other international scholarships (for example, Compatriots' scholarships, Erasmus, Erasmus Mundus, your government scholarships, funds, grants, companies, etc).
