Winchester School of Art announced a number of Undergraduate scholarships to both UK/EU and international students every year. Scholarships have been put in place to assist students during their studies at the School.
Postgraduate Research Bursaries are available to both UK/EU and International students. These bursaries are usually £1,000 and are offered on a competitive basis. A statement explaining why you need this bursary is essential.
Two bursaries are available to full-time students who have accepted a place on a Postgraduate Research
The scholarship is funded by Die Presse in the amount of EUR 14,000 this year and thus contributes indirectly to the diffusion process of future issues of alternative energy production. The scholarship holder is will get the chance of continuing education in terms of "pioneering spirits".
Currently, EMBL's students obtain their degree from a national university or jointly with EMBL. EMBL is also interested in promoting research at the interface between Molecular Biology and Medicine. We will offer the possibility to pursue an MD/PhD degree to medically qualified candidates on a case by case basis.The typical duration of a PhD thesis at EMBL is 3.5 to 4 years. EMBL predoctoral fellowships are initially awarded for 3.5 years, with the possibility of a half-year extension.
The PhD student will be part of a research group focusing on the development and validation of new methods for the analysis of neuroimaging data. The position is financed by the Multidisciplinary Research Project "The Integrative Neuroscience of Behavioural Control", an ambitious collaboration with experimental psychologists and clinical doctors.We are looking for a highly motivated candidate, who has ideally a master degree in physics, mathematics or engineering, knows at least one programming language (matlab, R, C, etc) and has an interest for multidisciplinary research. Anyway candidates with a medical/biological background and some programming expertise are also welcome to apply.

The Amsterdam Global Change Institute (AGCI) is a new institute at VU University Amsterdam which aims to encourage excellence and innovation in interdisciplinary research on the environment,
global change and sustainability . It brings together five existing institutes and departments across the three Faculties of Earth and Life Sciences, Economics and Social Sciences at the university.
