Leeward Community College - University of Hawaii offers scholarships to international students after completion of one semester of study in the undergraduate degree program.  The scholarships are $500 per semester and can be awarded for a total of four semesters.  Students are eligible to apply with a 3.0 G.P.A.  In addition, Leeward Community College also offers Departmental Scholarships which international students are eligible to apply for. 

Foreign Affairs publishes articles by today's leaders and thinkers that tackle the most pressing issues in international relations. We want to give tomorrow's leaders the opportunity to demonstrate innovative thinking on the issues that shape their world. In the second annual Foreign Affairs Essay Contest, a panel from the Foreign Affairs editorial staff will select one undergraduate's essay to be published on the Foreign Affairs Web site.

Master’s Scholarship at University of Twente for non-EU Female Students of any major in Netherlands -2011
Blaise Pascal University is opening the second year of its Master of Physics of Nanostructures to scientifically confirmed foreign students. In order to promote this event, the three best applications will have the Tuition Fees offered by the University. A scholarship of a total amount 2000 euros will be offered for the 2nd Semester if the 1st Semester is successful.
The International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE) encourages students to study and/or to conduct research in any of Offshore Mechanics, Ocean, Arctic, and Related Engineering fields, or to participate in the annual ISOPE Conferences. For this purpose, ISOPE grants scholarships of $1,000 each to outstanding graduate students and entering new graduate students for the academic year 2011?2012. Three to five scholarships were granted each year. The recipients are encouraged to join the ISOPE student membership.
Applicants must be holders of a PhD diploma. They can apply until up to 8 years after obtaining their PhD.The postdoc research training has to be carried out in a different country from where the applicant has been principally working in the 24 months preceding the beginning of the intended postdoctoral funding period (mobility clause).Under the AFR scheme, early-stage researchers are eligible for the AFR PhD grant and consecutively for the AFR Postdoc grant (under the condition that they respect a mobility clause).
The Taiwan International Graduate Program is pleased to invite applications to our 2011 Summer Internship Program (TIGP-SIP). The TIGP is a unique all-English Ph.D. program supported by Academia Sinica, Taiwan's most prestigious research institution. International applicants from EF Education, Kaplan and Study Group for the 2011/12 academic year may apply for a Sheffield Hallam University scholarship worth £1000. To mark the partnership between our institutions, Sheffield Hallam University is offering a scholarship of £1000 to one student from each of the three colleges who begins a full-time course with us in the 2011/12 academic year. All full-time taught courses are taking part in this scheme.  Successful applicants will be awarded with a cheque and a certificate to mark their achievement at an annual Scholarships ceremony.
Up to 50 prestigious Charles Darwin Postgraduate Research Scholarships will be awarded for session 2011-2012.
Each award will cover between £5,000 and £25,000 per annum and can be used towards tuition fees, stipend and/or laboratory costs.
The PhD position is for four years, extendable to a maximum of five years by including department duties at a level of at most 20% (typically teaching).

We are pleased to offer three PhD studentships to conduct doctoral research and teach on a variety of undergraduate courses within the Department of Politics. The successful applicants will have good first degrees (and preferably Master's degrees) in politics, international relations or a related discipline and a strong interest in both teaching and academic research. The doctoral candidate programme amounts to 240 credits (equivalent to four years of full time study). It formally ends with the doctoral candidate publicly defending his/her printed doctoral thesis. The holder of a postgraduate position has as his/her primary obligation to successfully fulfill his/her third cycle education ending with a PhD degree.
The candidate should have a strong background in the study of quantum systems, with tools from spectral theory, nonlinear analysis and PDEs, or numerical analysis. She/he is expected to work in the team of the ERC Starting Grant project MNIQS and to interact with the other members of the project.

The Leibniz Graduate School on Ageing offers an international PhD programme for students with excellent qualifications.
