The Carr Center Fellowship is a general fellowship opportunity intended to support a wide range of research and scholarship associated with human rights issues.
The International Dissertation Research Fellowship (IDRF) Program supports the next generation of scholars in the humanities and social sciences pursuing research that advances knowledge about non-U.S. cultures and societies. IDRF accepts applications for research that is situated in a specific discipline and geographical region and is informed by interdisciplinary and cross-regional perspectives, as well as research on multiple countries and/or multiple world regions. While proposals may cover all periods in history, they must demonstrate relevance to contemporary issues and debates.
Named in honor of NED's principal founders, former president Ronald Reagan and the late congressman Dante Fascell, the Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program was established in 2001 with funding from the U.S. Congress to enable democratic practitioners, scholars, and journalists from around the world to deepen their understanding of democracy and enhance their ability to promote democratic change. Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows maintain full-time residence at the International Forum for Democratic Studies (the Forum), the research arm of the Endowment, located in Washington, D.C. The Forum hosts 16 to 20 Reagan-Fascell Fellows per year for periods ranging from five to ten months. The program offers two tracks, a practitioner track and a scholarly track.
Undergraduate international students are eligible for merit, talent, and athletic scholarships. While the scholarships range from $4,000 to full tuition, there are only a limited number available to international students.
Green River, Auburn, Washington, is now offering a wide variety of scholarships and on-campus employment to help students and families weather the economic storm. Scholarships are awarded as partial tuition waivers and on-campus work grants. Scholarship awards range from $250 to more than $5,000 and are dependent on the type and duration of the award.
The Jennings Randolph (JR) Program for International Peace awards approximately 12 residential Senior Fellowships each year to allow outstanding scholars, practitioners, policymakers, journalists, and other professionals the opportunity to conduct research on peace, conflict, and international security while taking advantage of their time in Washington D.C. to make connections with other scholars and practitioners both inside and outside USIP.

The Franklin Research Grants, first given in 1933, are small grants to scholars intended to support the cost of research leading to publication in all areas of knowledge. The Franklin program is particularly designed to help meet the cost of travel to libraries and archives for research purposes; the purchase of microfilm, photocopies or equivalent research materials; the costs associated with fieldwork; or laboratory research expenses.

Linfield College, a small private undergraduate institution in McMinnville, Oregon, offers partial tuition scholarships to qualified international students. The amount awarded is determined primarily by the student's academic record as indicated on official transcripts, with some consideration also given to TOEFL or IELTS or SAT scores. The value of these awards ranges from $14,000 for an equivalent 3.4 GPA up to $20,000 for students with a 3.8 or higher GPA. A Campus Employment opportunity is usually added to the scholarship award, so the student can earn up to $2,520 per year by working on campus.

Research Area: Separation of proteins and carbohydrates (lactose, glucose, galactose, arabinose, xylanose, mannose, fructose, maltose, xylitol, maltodextrin, saccharose) by gel filtration chromatography. Method development and application in structural analysis and identification of peptides, proteins and protein complexes by mass spectrometry. The main research directions will include identification, separation and characterization of different carbohydrates and proteins produced during whey fermentation process.
The Signature Health Services Research Program at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, Singapore, announces a postdoctoral individual fellowship in health services research. This postdoctoral research fellowship provides an opportunity for one or more years of training in applying modelling (including decision modelling, system dynamics, and event simulation) to the study of chronic and infectious disease in Singapore and the region.
