The Renaissance College Hong Kong (RCHK) scholarship programme invites applications from students who have the potential to fulfill the challenging requirements of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes.
Students at Renaissance College share an academic experience that emphasises critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and exposure to many different points of view. The goal is to provide students with the values and opportunities that will enable them to develop sound judgment, make wise choices, and respect others within the global community. The language of instruction at the college is English.
Clarendon Scholarships are awarded on the basis of outstanding academic merit and potential to graduate students from all around the world. Scholarships are tenable in all subject areas and open to candidates who will be starting a new course.
In the IMPRS for Neural Circuits we offer a multidisciplinary program to excellent doctoral students with backgrounds in neuroscience, mathematics, physics, computer science, (bio) chemistry, biology and medicine as well as research experience in the participating institutions of the Frankfurt Neuroscience community. Students will participate in a tailor-made educational program including research rotations and neuroscience courses but also in trainings in transferable skills as well as summer schools, lecture series and exchange programs with excellent research institutes abroad.
This fellowship is open to outstanding young professors from universities from developing and emerging countries pursuing advanced research in areas bridging the fields of international and development studies, broadly defined, and working in disciplines such as anthropology, history, law, politics and political science, and economics. The selection will be based on the quality of research. Quality being equal, selection may be guided by an interest in promoting gender and regional diversity. Candidates should demonstrate how their research stay will contribute to their academic career and their home institution.
